Encore’s AAC audio decoder is optimized for various ARM and DSP architectures by making optimal use of advanced multimedia architectural features and efficient use of system cache.

• Fully compliant to the ISO MPEG-2/MPEG-4 Low Complexity codec standard.
• Audio Data Interchange Format (ADIF) and Audio Data Transport Stream (ADTS) input formats, encoded with ISO/IEC 13818-7 or 14496-3 compliant encoders.
• RAW data input format.
• Sampling rates from 8 to 96 kHz.
• Bit rates from 16 to 576 Kbps.
• Mono and stereo channels.
• Code is reentrant.
• 16-bit PCM output.

• Texas Instrument (TI’s) C64x (TMS320C64x), C64x+/DaVinci, OMAP2/OMAP-2430, OMAP3 devices.
