Encore’s V.34 modem implementation is ITU-T V.34 compatible and is highly optimized, efficient and field proven solution. The V.34 modem is a full duplex data modem for data communication over PSTN. The V.34 modem supports bit rates from 2400bps to 33600bps.

• Adheres to all the mandatory features of ITU-T V.34 Standard (1998).
• Supports all other V-Series modulation modes including V.32bis, V.22bis, V.21, V.23.
• Channel separation by echo cancellation techniques.
• Employs QAM and Trellis coding.
• Provide line probing signals for channel quality determination.
• Automoding to V-Series modems supported by V.32bis automode procedures.
• Use of V.8 procedures during modem startup procedure for modulation mode selection.
• Tested against various impairment combinations using Telephone Network Emulator (TAS).
• Currently V.34 Modem is available on TI’s TMS320C64x, TMS320C62x, TMS320C54x and ARM9 platforms.
